Abstract

The article deals with the possibilities of temperature stabilization inside the drying chamber with the help of materials having corresponding melting temperatures. The problem of the melting of accumulating material under the action of solar rays is investigated analytically. A precise and approximate solution of the problem of the propagation velocity of the melting boundary is presented. The application of the similarity method for solving the problem of the melting of a paraffin layer is shown. A reduced equation is obtained, which makes it possible to obtain numerical and graphical solutions. Particular cases of the solution of problems on the melting of the accumulation material are given.
